Our final church service was held yesterday on Easter Sunday. This day was chosen specifically because Resurrection Sunday teaches us that life comes from death.

Thank you to all of you who have prayed for and are still praying for us.

It was a hard day, but we were determined to celebrate the goodness of God, the Risen Christ, and bring Him Glory.

He is Risen indeed.

After weeks of prayer and consideration, the members of Chapel Lane Free Will Baptist Church in Searcy, Arkansas met on Sunday, March 1st, 2026 and voted unanimously to officially disband.

The decision was made to relinquish all remaining resources to the Arkansas State Association of Free Will Baptists officially after a final service on Sunday, April 5th, 2026.

We come to this decision in unity and regret only that it had to be made. Our hope, prayer, and belief is that God will use this difficult decision to be a seed that will bring forth much fruit for the Kingdom of God.

I invite anyone who has been touched by the ministry of Chapel Lane to join us for our final service on Resurrection Sunday (Easter).

If you’re unable to attend please share a message, written or on video, as to how God has used Chapel Lane to touch your life.

Please keep our church family in your prayers. We are grieving, but also looking with anticipation to what our Father has in store for the future.
