Our current church secretary is stepping down due to medical issues, so we are now searching for her replacement. This individual will perform general office work and relieve the pastor of minor executive and clerical duties. This job is part-time, requiring up to 20 hours per week (Monday-Thursday; 9:00 am - 2:00 pm unless the pastor requires different hours). Must be able to pass a background check. An annual employee evaluation will be conducted by the Personnel Committee and the pastors. The pay rate is $13-$14/hr. Please send resumes to [email protected].

When Jesus prays in the Garden of Gethsemane, He says, "All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will" (Mark 14:36). This verse reminds me of two important truths concerning prayer. First, pray in faith. Pray believing that God can do anything. Second, pray in submission. Pray to God trusting that He knows what's best. Surrender yourself and your desires to Him. Pray in faith. Pray in submission. Watch what God does.
