Men…the time has come to begin registering for Men’s Retreat. Use the link provided to register and if you select bunk room we’ll all be roomed together. We hope you’d stay the night but some have went home and returned and there’s even an RV/camper spot possibility if that’s more your speed and you want.

A huge thank you to everyone who served at Frederick Douglass Elementary’s Field Day already! Two more Chances this week, check out the SignUpGenius online!

There is something priceless about seeing those smiles as students receive a simple popsicle on a warm day. Moments like these remind us that small acts of kindness can make a big impact.

Thank you for representing Gethsemane so well and for continuing to find practical ways to love our community. We are grateful for each person who shows up to serve.

What a morning at Gethsemane!

As we started our journey through Deuteronomy, we were reminded of God's faithfulness and His call for His people to trust and obey Him. We were also blessed to welcome Lily from Her Care Clinic, who shared about the important work they are doing to support women and families in our community. Don't forget to return your baby bottles by Father's Day!

The highlight of the morning was celebrating 7 baptisms. Seven individuals publicly declared their faith in Jesus Christ and their desire to follow Him. There is nothing quite like seeing lives transformed by the power of the Gospel.

Days like today remind us that the church is more than a building. It is a community gathered around God's Word, committed to one another, and celebrating what God is doing in and through His people.

We give God all the glory for what He is doing at Gethsemane!

Lace up your shoes and come join us for “Walk & Talk” this summer!

Beginning Monday, June 8, we’ll gather every Monday and Thursday at 6:00pm in the Gethsemane Church parking lot for a casual time of walking, conversation, and community.

Walk at your own pace and for however long you feel comfortable — this is simply a chance to move, connect, and enjoy time together!

A few notes:
• Participants walk at their own risk
• You can sign up at the Garden Center so you receive a message if weather cancels the walk.
• The church building/facilities will not be open during walking times

We have a couple exciting opportunities coming up to serve our community and we would love for you to be part of them.

Field Day Update:
Our Field Day at Frederick Douglass has had a date change and will now take place on June 1st. Because of the change, a few volunteers are no longer able to serve, which means there are now openings available. If this new date works for you, claim your spot now. There are still openings available for the June 2nd Field Day as well.

Party in the Park | June 12 | 5:30–8:00pm
We have also been invited by Hope Church to participate in “Party in the Park” at Soroptimist Park as we kick off summer together.

Hope Church will be providing 300 free meals and Gethsemane will be teaming up with Arctic Ice Snowballs to provide free snowballs for the community. We will also have tables set up with games like Uno, Happy Salmon, Battleship, Connect Four, and more as we connect with families and share about Gethsemane.

A huge thank you to our Hospitality Team for the countless hours, planning, vision, and hard work they continue to pour into making Gethsemane welcoming from the car door to the sanctuary door.

This past Saturday, a few men showed up to help hang the new artwork throughout our hallways … helping bring to life what has been nearly a 2-year project in the making. While this may feel like a finish line, it is really just putting us onto another course.

As God continues to bring growth, it also brings greater responsibility and greater opportunity to serve others well.

“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up…” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11
