Gracious Lord, in this Easter season, we are still celebrating the unparalleled victory that is ours because of Your death and glorious resurrection. As Psalm 16 reminds us in verse 11: “You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” (ESV) This is all ours because of Your defeat of sin, death, and the devil.

Sitting behind a toddler at church…
At Evergreen we include children of all ages in our services. It is delightful to see them grow! As they grow, and if you happen to sit in front of or behind a child you can hear and see their growth not only physically but spiritually too!

The Lords Prayer by a toddler, with hands folded and her head bowed in her daddy’s arms, her words are capitalized.

"Our FATHER,
who art in HEAVEN,
hallowed be thy NAME,
Thy kingdom COME,
Thy will be DONE on earth as it is in HEAVEN.
Give us this day our daily BREAD;
and FORGIVE us our TRESPASSES
as we forgive those who trespass against US;
and lead us not into TEMPTATION,
but deliver us from EVIL.
For Thine is the KINGDOM and the POWER
and the GLORY FOREVER AND EVER, AMEN.

God put the wiggle in children, we love having the kids in with us! Plus they get to enjoy a sermon geared just for them!
