Many of our congregations and schools in the Northwest have known seasons of great strength. And many of those same ministries now find themselves looking back, wondering if those days will ever return. In Ezekiel 17, the Lord speaks a word of hope to anyone caught in that trap. He takes a tender sprig from the top of a mighty cedar and plants it — and from that small beginning, something noble grows. It is a picture of what He did through Jesus, and a promise of what He is still doing today.

This month's Six Mission Minutes visits St. Paul's Lutheran Church and School in Roseburg, Oregon, where that promise is taking root in real and beautiful ways. Watch the episode. 👇️

Holy Trinity Reflection May 31, 2026

The God who created you, redeemed you, and sanctifies you has placed His name upon you in baptism. He keeps reminding you of His great love. What does He call for His own to do? Go and share this love with others. Go and let others know that His love is there for them as well. The Good News of God is not one that just claims us or lets us know about the Lord, it was meant to be shared.

Prayer:
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, keep us rooted in Your love and send us into the world with hope and purpose. Amen.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nation, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” Matthew 28:19

Challenge for the Week:
Take time to remember how God has showed you His love. Reflect on what it means to be shown this love as a baptism child of God each day. Consider how what you are showing people this week by your actions as you reflection on your baptismal identity.

Almighty and eternal God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, in the beginning You created the heavens and the earth, and by Your Word all things came into being. Your Spirit hovered over the waters, bringing order, life, and beauty out of the deep. You crowned humanity with glory and honor, setting us over the works of Your hands.

Trinity Sunday
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

This Trinity Sunday, we gather giving thanks in worship that the God who creates, redeems, and sanctifies His people has made Himself known. We know who God is and that we can call upon Him. Through baptism, God calls us by name and sends us into His mission with hope and purpose.

Come worship with us this Sunday as we celebrate the goodness and grace of our Triune God. Rejoicing in what God has made known.

Happy Memorial Day

This Memorial Day, we remember with gratitude those who gave their lives in service to our country. We pray for their families, for all who mourn, and for God’s peace to rest upon our nation.

Let us pray:
Lord Jesus, thank You for the courage and sacrifice of those who served. Comfort the grieving, strengthen those who protect and serve today, and lead us to live with love, humility, and peace. Amen

Pentecost Sunday Challenge

The Holy Spirit is still alive and active. He still moves and is present. Through ordinary people, God brings Christ’s forgiveness and peace into weary hearts and broken places. The Holy Spirit is at work both in us and through us for a world that needs the salvation Jesus paid for.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, fill us this week with faith, boldness, and compassion so we may reflect Jesus in our homes, workplaces, and community. Amen.

Bible Verse:
“Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Acts 2:21

Often on Pentecost we hear the phrase "Come Holy Spirit Come". Pray each morning: “Come, Holy Spirit” and look for how the Spirit is active though you this week. look for the opportunities God has given you to encourage someone with God’s grace.
