⭐Food Drive⭐

We are so excited to announce that we will be opening a food pantry to serve the communities of Scribner and Snyder!! This local need has been on our hearts for a long time, and we are anticipating being open once a month starting in June.

If you are moved to help in any way to help us get this ministry going, we will be accepting donations at Lee's grocery store, Scribner Public Library, and Snyder Public Library during the month of May.

If you have any questions, feel free to call Grace at 402-431-3102.

We will be posting sign-up instructions soon for anyone who can benefit from the food pantry. Please share!

We want to thank all who have contributed to the Clay Mueller fund. With your help, we have been able to raise several thousand dollars to help them with their medical bills. We want to push one last reminder in case anyone has forgotten or not been able to contribute up to this point. We are so grateful for the community helping us to care for Clay and Michaela. We will be distributing the funds as they need it in the coming days. We will leave the account open for a little while yet, but for now at least, this will be the last reminder.

The Cross and the Empty Tomb
Both are vital. There cannot be one without the other.
Upon the cross, Jesus took the sins of all mankind upon Himself. He became the sacrifice that was required to satisfy God's wrath against sin. However, it would not have been enough for Jesus to die on the cross. Everyone dies. If Jesus had only died, there still would be no salvation. Wonderfully, Jesus did not stay dead! On that Sunday morning, almost 2,000 years ago, Jesus walked out of the grave. He conquered death to provide all who put their faith in Him salvation from sin and eternal life. Because He died, sins can be forgiven. Because He lives, we can have eternal life. This great gift can only be received through faith in what Jesus accomplished - not by any amount of good works.
This is what we celebrate this weekend. If you have any questions about how you can receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life, please reach out to us.

There is a benefit fund set up for Clay Mueller at the Scribner Bank, for those who would like to help. We don't know what all the specific needs will be yet, but we know Clay has a long road of recovery ahead, and there will be bills to pay.
