Faith isn't just something that happens on Sunday mornings.

It shows up in the patience you find for a hard conversation, the meal you share with someone who's struggling, the grace you finally give yourself after a long week.

Even our Grace's Table food cupboard, which serves neighbors right here in Wheatland and Scottsville, is faith in action. It's love with its sleeves rolled up.

God isn't only found within these walls. He's with you everywhere you go.

Every month, quietly and without fanfare, a cart of grocery bags gets filled and given away. That's Grace's Table, one of our longest-running outreach programs, providing groceries each month to about 35 to 40 families in our community.

There's nothing flashy about a paper bag full of food. But for a family stretching every dollar, it can mean the difference in a hard month. This is what it looks like to love our neighbor, one bag at a time. "Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me." (Matthew 25:40)

If you'd like to help pack, donate, or learn more about Grace's Table, reach out to us, we'd love to have you join in.

Today, we're praying for our neighbors here in Scottsville and Wheatland.

For the families getting ready for another school year. For the folks working hard to make ends meet. For anyone who feels far from God right now. For the people who serve this town quietly, without asking for anything back.

We believe prayer changes things, so we don't take it lightly.

Lord, watch over our community. Provide for those in need, comfort those who are hurting, and remind each of us that we belong to You. Amen.

A heartfelt celebration of thanksgiving for Reverend Ginny's year as our interim priest. We bid her and husband, Charlie, farewell during her final Sunday service with us. How sincerely loved she is and dearly missed she will be. Thanks be to God for her loving care of our little congregation!💕

Kindness has a way of bringing people together. 💙

At Grace Episcopal Church, community isn’t something that only happens on Sunday mornings. It’s built in conversations, shared experiences, helping hands, laughter, and simply showing up for one another.

We believe there’s room for everyone here, wherever you are in life and wherever you may be on your journey.

You don't need a reason to come to church this Sunday. You don't need to have your life figured out or your questions answered first. Just come. Sit with us. Sing if you want to, or just listen. Pray if you want to, or just be still.

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

See you at church this Sunday, 10:30am at Grace Episcopal Church.

Searching for a new Rector is more than filling a role. It's discerning who God is calling to walk with us next.

We're asking for your prayers over our Selection Committee as they receive names through October 18th. Pray for wisdom for our committee, for open hearts, and for the person God already has in mind for Grace Church.

Lord, guide our search. Give our committee clarity and patience, and lead the right person to this community at the right time. Amen.

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans." - Proverbs 16:3

Church is so much more than a building.

It’s the people sitting beside you. The person who remembers your name. The familiar face across the aisle. The conversations before and after worship. The people who notice when you’ve been away and are genuinely happy when you return.

That’s the kind of community we’re continuing to build at Grace. One rooted in kindness, connection, and care for one another. 💙

Faith was never meant to be carried alone. When we hold onto each other, hands joined and heads bowed, we're stronger than we could ever be by ourselves. That's what community is for. That's what this church family is for.

"Two are better than one... for if they fall, one will lift up the other." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)

We'd love to hear what community means to you. Drop a comment below.
