Isaiah 53:1-12, in our Sunday School lesson we read Tony Cartledge's lesson on this passage. I really loved his image of Isaiah speaking to us today and describing this to use today. A fresh new tree growing from an old root from dry ground. That tree has a purpose. A tree is used by man to build a house, etc. God's purpose was for that tree (Jesus) to bring us into His house. Praise God!

Dear Friends, we are planning our 150 year celebration for July 2018! How exciting that Slate Hill will be reaching 150 years of serving Christ!
