Hello Soul Sisters! Just wanted to pass on a Heart Walk that is happening on November 1st at Gilbert Regional Park. This is a one mile walk to raise funds for those with CHD. We'll be supporting the Heart of Goldie team. Goldie is the daughter of Stephen & Katelyn and the granddaughter of Pastor Steve & Patti.

Apologize for the last minute post, but if you would like to hike tomorrow (March 22nd) to celebrate World Water Day, the NE Valley Consortium of Lutheran Churches (which New Covenant is a part of) is holding a Walk for Water hike at the Gateway Trailhead in the Scottsdale McDowell Sonoran Preserve.

There are multiple trails to hike based on your ability. Be at the trailhead at 9 a.m.

Quick update on the hike that was planned for Saturday. It has been CANCELLED.

If you are outside between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., you will be able to experience the 2023 Annular Eclipse. Here in Scottsdale we'll see 80% coverage. Check out https://science.nasa.gov/ecl.../future-eclipses/eclipse-2023 for more info.

The first hike of the season is this Saturday, Oct. 14th. We will be hiking the Peralta Trail in the Superstition Mountains. Signup for this hike at www.newcovenantaz.church/signups. Meet at church at 7 a.m. to carpool.
