Scottsburg United Methodist Church Join us for worship Sunday mornings at 0900. We are a small, rural church in the township of Sparta, NY. Our Worship service is small, Methodist, and Orthodox.

Our church began in 1839 and the building was built in 1841. In it, we seek to worship God Almighty, as we grow closer to God in fellowship with God. This is not an individual experience. Since God created all of us to have relationship with one another, we come to worship as a community and as a family. In this, not only do we grow closer to God in fellowship, but we also grow closer with each ot

her in fellowship and unity. We may be a small congregation, but we have a big heart and a passion to serve God in the community...for the community...all so that God's name might be glorified, and so that people may experience the love and passion of God in their own lives.
