Facebook is exasperating at times. I can’t share a picture and a video together or share more than one video at a time. WHY? Video in the comments.

Anyway. Sometimes big needs come along that can be met rather cheaply. These two young ladies come from a very poor family and yesterday they showed up for school. Gracious Memorial provides education for many who can’t afford the govt schools. Well they had no uniforms like the other kids, no under garments and no shoes.
For about $16 each we are able to take care of these problems.
This is why monthly support is so vitally important. There have been times when there wasn’t an extra $32 in the account.
Thanks is a donor last week we were able to meet this need immediately instead of putting a call out and (begging?) for a donation.
This illustrates what even a $10 or $20 monthly donation can do.
Would pray and consider monthly support for these kids and others who will be coming.

God bless.

Help me make more special days for them.

We could learn from these children. They are happier than many of us with far less than we have.

We need cooking oil, salt, greens and tomatoes.
$175 to get it all. Every little bit helps. God bless you all.

Exciting news coming from Kenya this morning. I don’t know if I told you Pastor James and his wife Calister have been expecting.
This morning baby Laurie made her appearance into the world.
She is named after my precious wife.

I tend to obsess over being in God’s will.

What job.

What decision.

What direction.

Like if I missed the “what,” I missed everything.

But Scripture keeps pulling me back.

Colossians 3:23

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…”

And then even clearer,

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Not just what you do.

But how you live.

We romanticize the will of God like it’s always a place.

A platform.

A big moment.

But most of the time, it looks like this:

Rejoicing when it’s hard.

Praying when it’s quiet.

Giving thanks.

The “what” matters.

But the “how” reveals the heart.

So don’t overcomplicate it.

You don’t have to find some hidden door to be in His will today.

You can walk in it right where you are.

Right attitude.

Right heart.

Right now.
