Exciting news coming from Kenya this morning. I don’t know if I told you Pastor James and his wife Calister have been expecting.
This morning baby Laurie made her appearance into the world.
She is named after my precious wife.

I tend to obsess over being in God’s will.

What job.

What decision.

What direction.

Like if I missed the “what,” I missed everything.

But Scripture keeps pulling me back.

Colossians 3:23

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…”

And then even clearer,

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Not just what you do.

But how you live.

We romanticize the will of God like it’s always a place.

A platform.

A big moment.

But most of the time, it looks like this:

Rejoicing when it’s hard.

Praying when it’s quiet.

Giving thanks.

The “what” matters.

But the “how” reveals the heart.

So don’t overcomplicate it.

You don’t have to find some hidden door to be in His will today.

You can walk in it right where you are.

Right attitude.

Right heart.

Right now.

The kids are singing to Jesus and declaring happiness into their lives. God bless them. They are so innocent.
Truth is though that food is low yet again.
They have corn for porridge and Ugali (boiled corn bread) but the beans supplies is dry.
A big bag of beans is $215.
I still pray for monthly donation commitments so that I don’t have to put this call out every month.
God is good.

🔥 Ignite a Fire – Kenya Ministry Update & Need 🔥

Over the years, Ignite a Fire has grown and shifted as God has led us—but the heart has remained the same: serving people and sharing the love of Christ in real, practical ways.

Today, most of our focus is in Nyaisero, Kenya, where we are currently helping support around 135 children, along with assisting widows and orphans through Ignite a Fire Church and ongoing community needs.

This work is not just about meeting physical needs like food and basic support—it is about bringing hope, stability, and the message of Jesus into a place where opportunities are very limited.

Right now, we are praying and believing God for an additional $1,200 in monthly support to continue and strengthen this work consistently. Regular support helps us:

* Provide meals for children who depend on it
* Support local leadership and ministry work in Kenya
* Maintain ongoing outreach without interruption

We are asking you to prayerfully consider becoming a monthly partner or increasing your current support. Even small monthly gifts, when joined together, make a real and lasting impact.

Of the $1200 needed for uniforms, shoes, socks and school supplies, we have received $0.

Of the $525 need to finish plastering the walls of the church. We have received $0

Of the $600 in additional monthly donations needed , we have received , no response. $0.

The kids were eating well today. Thanks for the help
Several of the kids need new uniforms. About 30 need new shoes. We don’t want them getting mites in their feet.
A new term has started and we are short on supplies.
The food is an ongoing need. I still need another $600 in monthly support to keep going.
We have an emergency need of at least $1200 now. This will get the need uniforms, shoes socks and school supplies. Please help if you can.
