Join the Office of Youth & Young Adult Ministry for a Working Retreat at Mount Saint Macrina on August 2–4, 2026!

✨ Theme: “Made for the Journey!”
Led by the Byzantine Catholic campus ministry priests of the Archeparchy of Pittsburgh.

Includes accommodations, meals, snacks, and the full retreat experience.

🛠 Service work helping the Sisters of St. Basil prepare for the annual pilgrimage

As we prepare our Easter baskets for this weekend, we also prepare ourselves to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ, the end of Lent, and eternal life.

We hope to see you at Resurrection Matins on Saturday at 7 pm, Easter basket blessing at 8 pm. Divine Liturgy will follow the blessing.

Just a clarification for all our local 🐟 Lenten Fish Fry 🐟 lovers:

St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church does not have a fish fry. 😟

The Greensburg Times Fish Fry Bracket participant is St John's Roman Catholic Church in Scottdale.

We hope you will support them and all of the listed participants.

We do have handmade frozen 🥟 perogie 🥟 for sale, contact the church office for more information.

Don't forget, we do have a wonderful homemade polish platter with pierogie, halupki, haluski, and keilbasa at our annual handmade craft show. This year it is going to be held on December 5th. Please stop by then and give our homemade food a try then!
