As we get ready for another exciting Vacation Bible School, we can’t help but look back at some of the wonderful memories from VBS years gone by. From crafts and games to songs and Bible lessons, God has blessed us with so many special moments and smiling faces through the years.

Now it’s time to make new memories!

Tuesday Trivia Answer! ⛪

Several of you guessed correctly!

Those two stone blocks built into the brickwork of our church are pieces of the previous Providence Baptist Church building that stood before the current structure. After the old church was lost to fire, these stones were preserved and incorporated into the new building as a reminder of where we’ve come from.

They serve as a small but meaningful connection between generations of believers who have worshiped here through the years.

As we celebrate 150 years of Providence Baptist Church, we’re reminded that while buildings may change, God’s faithfulness remains the same.

Today we remember.

Not just a long weekend... but the men and women who gave their lives in service to others and to our country.

As we gather with family this Memorial Day, may we also pause in gratitude for sacrifice, freedom, and the blessings we often take for granted.
