PLEASE WATCH BROTHER RON'S 7 MINUTE VIDEO (BELOW) OF HIS KENYA MISSIONS EXPERIENCE AND VISION FOR THE FUTURE:
RON MCKINLEY MY MISSION TO KENYA:
A Story of Adventure, Tragedy, and Renewal:
In 2019, I sold everything I had and moved to Kenya. God had connected me with Bishop Mary, a local ministry leader overseeing 18 churches and an orphanage of 41 children. We married and poured our lives into teaching pastors, launching a Bible College, and hosting open-air crusades.
Then, tragedy struck. During the pandemic, both Mary and I fell severely ill, and Mary went home to be with the Lord. Left in charge of the ministry and carrying immense grief, I established local leaders and returned to the U.S.
But the call of God cannot be buried. Every year since, I have returned to Kenya to strengthen what was started. In 2025, partnering with churches in Southeast Missouri, we dug a water well at the orphanage so the children no longer have to walk 10 miles for clean water. We provided beds, clothes, and school fees, and built several church buildings for rural pastors.
Moving Forward in 2026:
This July, we are scheduled to build another church. In the Fall of 2026, I will return to Kenya for a vital 4-month ministry tour.
The work is vast, and I cannot do it alone. I am asking you—my friends, fellow ministers, and backers—to partner with me through a monthly financial pledge. Your generosity directly funds travel logistics and sustains our 16 churches, the orphanage, and local widows. Together, we can set the captives free and see the Gospel flourish.
Ways to Give:
1. Online: Go to fafgive.org and choose the MISSIONS tab.
2. Mail: Send a check marked "KENYA" to Father’s Arms Fellowship, 1400 Main Street, Scott City, MO 63780.
3. Questions: Call Pastor Ken Strong at (573) 225-5294.
Thank you for standing with me in sending the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

UPDATE FROM KEN & NANCY:
Dear Father's Arms Friends: Nancy and I wanted to update you on the current state of things since our flood, fire, tornado, car crash, and medical testing. It sounds like a lot I know, LOL, but in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us! Romans 8:31. All of this has happened in the past 2 months!
It all began with the tornado that hit our former youth pastors and his 2 young boy’s camper home and destroyed it in Delta, then 2 Days Later the flood devastated 75% of our church flooring and walls, a couple weeks later our dear Paige (mother and baby son), members of our church were killed in a house fire -devastating the abandoned father, her mother and two other children all from our church.
After these events my grandson Zac was in a car crash with three of his friends and two of them were hospitalized for a short while. The car was totally destroyed! Besides these things, I have undergone testing for prostate cancer.
When all this started with the tornado and flood, a scripture rose up in my heart “when the enemy comes in like a flood the spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against it” Is 59:19, and also Romans 8:28 that God would take these things and “work them together for our good.” I love the song that Daniel and our praise team sing that says “he takes what the enemy meant for evil and turns it for good!” During this season we have seen the power of praise and prayer to turn things around and bring testimonies out of tests! God has been with us in trouble and delivered us as it says in Psalms 91:15
I am thankful to report that God has done just that in these events starting with Justin's camper trailer that was destroyed. God has replaced it with a much better one from donations from the community and church. Thank the good Lord he is back better than before on his land in Delta Missouri where the tornado hit. FEMA did not help with this event, it was the body of Christ that worked together to help him clear off his land damages and pay for in full a new camper for Justin and the kids to live in.
As far as the flood progress goes, we only have a couple more phases of restoration to bring it back better than ever! Our dear family that lost their mother and baby brother in a fire are suffering greatly in their emotions (deeply grieving of course), please continue to pray for Joel and Pages’ mother Sherri and the two children who are left. We were able to have a fundraiser that helped them with a down payment and get into a new home out in the country where it’s peaceful. This home is the one he and Paige had planned to buy before her sudden death. Zac and his friends are recovering from their car crash although still suffering from injuries but God has begun to use our GoFundMe to help Zack get a new vehicle and pay these unexpected medical expenses that the car insurance did not pay. As far as I'm doing, I am 100% sure that I am healed and there is no cancer that can live in my body and so I expect a good report from the doctor next week!
I am really excited to have the church completely remodeled and restored not by choice but because of the situation and thankfully the insurance company will reimburse us to cover this and your donations helped us cover our deductibles, thank you all for your help, you all are amazing friends and comrades in the ministry.
There are some other amazing things that are happening that I am very excited about-- the whole concept of cell and celebration is coming to pass before my eyes! The early New Testament Church met house to house -I call that cell, then they all got together once a week as the Apostle Paul said on the first day of the week for celebration and brought their tithes together and had corporate worship, prayer and communion to strengthen the believers. This is a new-testament pattern that I prophesied about a couple of years ago and now I see it happening. We have outreaches in Jackson Missouri with Mike and Val Sowers now in a storefront on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. Brother Ron McKinley has started a Bible study at his apartment complex at West Court Manor in Cape Girardeau on Thursdays at 2:00, we continue with our Sunday night potluck and Bible study at the church with small groups, and on Wednesday night we have a small group Bible study at the church. These are all cells and then on Sundays we gather together for celebration! This is the pattern of the New Testament Church in the book of Acts and I see this emerging again in the United States and of course much of the world has done this for decades because of their governmental limitation and persecution.
We continue with our monthly support of The Revival Center homeless shelter in Jackson, Our new church plant in Jackson Outreach, Andrew Omondi and Pastor Johnson in Uganda, Ron McKinley and his missions and orphanage in Kenya, our David Daniels from FAF here in Scott City and his missions in the Philippines, Kurt Devenney's kids at the dump in Guatemala, Howard Novaski and his church plant in Arkansas, three children with children’s International in Mexico, Rhema Bible College in Tulsa and two students, Ron Cantor in Israel, the Callisters in India and their orphanage and u***d mother's homes, Jim Crain's ministry in Hong Kong plus our local 24 hour food pantry and benevolence! We’re kinda like jaurdance “the little church with a BIG story to tell!” LOL
As you can see you are doing a lot with us in “Koinonia” (fellowship- partnership- teamwork) with us to do as much damage to the kingdom of hell as we can through our vision of “seeking the lost, training the found, and sending the trained”.
Jesus told us to “occupy ‘til I come” and we are taking as much territory as our strength allows. Nancy and I are both over the retirement age and now get social security and medicare this year but we continue to press on as we’re training young ministers at our home in a year course of ministry. Pray for our strength to do everything God wants us to do and nothing the enemy wants us sneak into our path to get us off track! WE LOVE YOU!!! Please write us call us and give us your reports of what God is doing in your lives! PK & Nan

I WROTE THIS SONG IN 1989: Please ignore the fabulous pictures of me and nancy and concentrate on the lyrics. They are pretty powerful and biblically sound!

People often say "I don't have to go to church to be a Christian"! That is a true statement however it is a selfish statement. Things you might consider.
1) it's not all about you, someone might need you at church.
2) the bible commands us to "gather in his name".
3) miracles often occur in the bible when people are "gathered" thus you could be missing your blessing.

People often say "the church is full of hypocrites so i'm not going" Things you might consider:
1) if you're not a hypocrite yourself, perhaps you can be an example to the others
2) if you are a hypocrite, you'll have a mirror of your behavior and perhaps it will encourage you all to change.
3) you to go work and went to school with hypocrites didn't you?
