Greetings from the Scotland Neck Church of Christ. We welcome any and all who live in or visit our area, to come and assemble with us for Bible study and Worship. We are a congregation that believes that the Bible is the inerrant, inspired word of God. We believe that it only provides the authorization for all that we believe and practice. We believe the New Testament of Jesus Christ our Lord provides all of the instruction and authorization that is needed to serve Him acceptably and to worship God in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23-24)
In worship we:
• Preach and teach only the Bible. (2 Timothy 4:1-4)
• Pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus
Christ His Son. (John 14:6, Ephesians 5:20)
• Give as we have been prospered. (I Corinthians 16:1-2)
• Observe the Lord's Supper on every Sunday, the
first day of the week. (Acts 20:7)
• We sing together as a congregation without the
use of instruments of music. (Ephesians 5:19)
We teach only the plan of salvation that you can read of in the pages of the Bible.
• Hearing and believing the good news, the Gospel message. (Mark 16:15-16)
• Turning from the deliberate practice of sin in
repentance. (Acts 2:38, Acts 17:30-31)
• Confessing before men that Jesus Christ is the
Son of God. (Matthew 10:32-33, Romans 10:9-10)
• Baptism for the remission of sins. (Acts 2:38,
1 Peter 3:21, Mark 16:15-16.)
• Living a faithful Christian life. (Revelation 2:10)
We would love to have our neighbors and friends to come and journey to eternity with us.
