At Evangel Young Adults, we're all about one thing: bringing people to Jesus. If you're a young adult between the ages of 18-29, you belong here!

Whether you’re new to reading the Bible or ready to go deeper, this is a welcoming place for questions, growth, and genuine conversation.

Expect thoughtful teaching, honest discussion, and the kind of community that helps you grow stronger in your faith. Come ready to be challenged, encouraged, and equipped to live out what you learn.

Young Adults Outdoor Hike
Saturday, July 12 | 10AM–2PM

Looking to connect with others and enjoy the great outdoors? Join us for a refreshing hike with the Young Adults group! Whether you're an experienced hiker or just in it for the views and conversation, this is a great way to build community, get some fresh air, and have meaningful conversations along the way. Bring a water bottle, wear comfy shoes, and invite a friend!

When: Saturday, July 12 | 10AM–2PM
Where:
- Meet at Evangel Church Scotch Plains, 1251 Terrill Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076.
- Then, we'll carpool to the Stairway to Heaven Trail in Vernon, NJ

Vernon Township, NJ 07462
Cost: FREE — just bring yourself!
Bring: Lots of water, comfortable hiking shoes or sneakers, bug spray, light snacks for energy, and money for a meal after the hike.
The hike will take approximately 2 hours.

Hey Fam! ITS SUMMER TIME!!! So, we’re hanging out THIS Saturday (June 8th, 2024), TWICE! We will be hiking in the AM and gaming in the PM!
Join us at 8AM for the HIKE! We will meet at Evangel Scotch Plains (1251 Terrill Road, Scotch Plains NJ) for carpooling to South Mountain Reservation! If you wanna drive on your own, please let us know so we can fill you in on arrival time and meetup location! BRING LOTS OF WATER! It do be hot out there!
AND THEN! Meet us back at Evangel Scotch Plains at 6:30PM for a GAME NIGHT + ICE CREAM SOCIAL!! We will be hanging out, playing board games, Smash bros, eating ice cream and vibing! Make sure to bring some snacks, games and friends to share!
Pull up to the hike, game night, OR BOTH! WE CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU THERE!
