EMCC Voices of Victory believe that every great song needs a strong foundation, and today we are celebrating the "lead singers" of our lives—our mothers! Their love is the harmony that keeps us going and the rhythm that keeps us steady.

We want to fill this comment section with a chorus of appreciation. 🎶🙌

Who are you celebrating today?
• Shout out your mom (or that special mother figure) in the comments below!
• Tell us one thing about her that deserves a standing ovation. 👏✨
• Tag her so she can see the love! 💖
Let’s make some noise for the women who do it all! 💐

Community is about showing up when the music stops and the hard work begins.

Our friend Kensley Brooks—a bright student at EMCC and a talented member of Voices of Victory—and her family are facing an incredibly difficult time. A couple of weeks ago, a devastating house fire took everything they owned.

While we are so grateful they are safe, the road to rebuilding is long, and they need our help to get back on their feet.

How You Can Help

If you are in a position to give, every bit counts. Whether it’s the cost of a cup of coffee or a larger donation, it all goes directly toward helping the Brooks family recover.

• CashApp: $kensleyelise
• Clothing Needs: Kensley wears a size X-Small.

Spread the Word

Even if you can’t donate financially, please consider sharing this post. Let’s show Kensley the same harmony and support she brings to the stage with Voices of Victory.

"Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success."

Thank you for your prayers, your donations, and your kindness. Let’s help this family start their next chapter.

Slayed the Day, Shared the Love 🩷🩵✨

Big congrats to Matthew Wolvers, our Slay the Day Sweepstakes winner! Matthew took home a $575 Visa gift card and chose Love’s Kitchen in Meridian to receive a $1,250 donation.

We love seeing a fun dining promotion turn into something bigger for the community. Love’s Kitchen does incredible work serving and supporting neighbors in need, and we are so excited to see this donation make an impact right here close to home.

Thank you to Twin States News for stopping by and helping us share the moment!

Throwback to our very first rehearsal of the year.

04/29/2026

What an incredible academic year it has been! 🙌 From the very first meeting to last week’s powerful revival, we’ve witnessed growth, connection, and so many moments of genuine praise and purpose on campus.

As we close this chapter, we want to share that the revival marked our final event of the year. Now it’s time for a season of rest, reflection, and renewal. We’ll be taking the summer to recharge—but don’t worry, we’re already preparing to return in August with even bigger plans to uplift our campus and impact our greater community in meaningful ways.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported, prayed, and poured into this journey with us. Your encouragement means more than words can express.

Enjoy your summer, and we’ll see you soon—ready to praise louder and reach further! 💛

Last week, something special happened at EMCC… something we will never forget. 🤍✨

Revival kicked off Tuesday night, and from the very first moment, it was clear—the Spirit of God was present in a powerful way.

Due to a scheduling mix-up, we moved that first night to the Chapel… not knowing that God was already aligning something far greater than we could understand.

On Wednesday morning, we received the heartbreaking news that Mrs. M. Smith—the very person who poured so much into the Chapel in the Pines—had passed.

In that moment, everything shifted.

We truly believe it was no coincidence that revival continued in the Chapel for the rest of the week. Night after night, it was filled with praise, worship, and the presence of God—just the way she loved it.

Mrs. M. Smith was a supporter of Voices of Victory from the very beginning. She believed in this ministry, prayed for us, and championed what God was doing through us.

So every note we sang, every hand lifted, every moment of worship last week…
it was in honor of you.

This revival was dedicated to you, Mrs. M. 🤍🕊️

Your legacy lives on in every praise that filled those walls.

Heaven gained an angel 🤍✨

“In loving memory of Mrs. M. Smith”

Imagine being welcomed like this…
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”

A life of love.
A legacy of faith.
A heart that touched so many.

This is what it looks like when heaven celebrates you. 🕊️
