It's Sunday but Monday's Coming!
This Sunday in Worship with Communion at 9:30 AM in the Sanctuary and on Facebook.
We spend all our week laboring, looking forward to the weekend with time for play and relaxation. By Sunday evening, in the final hours of our break, we start to feel a little depressed. Jesus said, "Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there with them." With Jesus' help, we can start to think of work as holy labor, finding joy in interacting with "two or three" co-workers as we make a difference in our places of work and in our communities together. We can use our individual talents for self-enrichment and service doing good work for others as we look for the presence of Christ.

Ordinary Women, Extraordinary Faith: Lois and Eunice

This Sunday, we join the Apostle Paul in celebrating women who have taught us about Jesus the Christ, ordinary grandmothers and mothers like Lois and Eunice, who prepared Timothy for Christian ministry. Who shared their faith with you, so that you could believe and find the fullness of life in Christ?

During worship this past Sunday (August 23), Pastor Shawn announced her resignation/retirement. Her last Sunday will be November 22. Consistory will meet in the coming weeks with Rev. Dr. Nora Foust who is our Regional Conference Minister. She will guide us all through the search and call process for a new pastor.
