Not every season of ministry looks the way we planned.

The HereWithin team recently paused their in-person gathering because of changes in schedules and people moving away. But that doesn’t mean the ministry stopped.

They’ve continued meeting online, allowing people to stay connected even when they’re no longer physically in Chicago. And they’re preparing for an October retreat at Stronghold Castle, a time to slow down, unplug, encounter God, and build community.

Would you pray that God would use this next season to open new doors and create new connections?

Sometimes God does something new in the middle of a season we didn’t expect.

We’ve got some really exciting news to share from The Gathering!

They’ve been meeting in a small room at the Richland Center in Crest Hill, but they’ve officially outgrown the space. God has opened the door for them to begin meeting weekly at Wesmere Country Club in Plainfield this fall!

And we’re especially excited about the opportunity to reach the community around them. Wesmere is surrounded by more than 1,400 homes, many of them young families.

There’s a lot to pray for as they get ready for this next season. Pray for the people they’ll meet, the relationships that will grow, and for God to use this new space to reach more people with the Gospel.

We can’t wait to see what God does!

This summer, we’ve watched prayers lead to conversations, opportunities, partnerships, and new possibilities for church planting. And we believe there is more ahead.

So as we move through August, would you keep praying with us?

Pray for parent churches.�Pray for The Gathering Christian Church.�Pray for HereWithin in Chicago.�Pray for churches pursuing multiplication.�Pray for new possibilities we haven’t even seen yet.

One of the things we’re really excited about at Ignite is seeing churches not only plant churches, but become churches that multiply.

During our Multipliers Pathway training, several churches took time to think through what multiplication could look like in their own church and developed plans for taking those next steps. This month, we’re checking back in with those churches and figuring out how we can come alongside them.

There’s something really exciting about watching an idea move from a conversation to something God is actually doing. That, is what we are praying for!

What if we prayed for an entire neighborhood to be saturated with the Gospel? 🤍

That’s what we’re praying for in Chicago through the HereWithin Network, led by Daniel Hazel. Daniel is building a growing network of micro churches throughout the city, with the first group beginning to reach neighborhoods around Ravenswood, where Daniel and Emma live. They’re also prayerfully discerning where God might lead them next.

Would you pray with us?

3. For neighborhoods to be reached with the Gospel
4.For people far from Jesus to encounter Him

We believe reaching a city can start with reaching a neighborhood. Let’s pray for Chicago together!

God is building something new this fall. The Gathering Christian Church, led by Seth Rempel, has a growing launch team and has secured a new space that will allow the church to take its next step.
They’re beginning weekly Sunday gatherings this month! New churches begin with people willing to pray, serve, invite, and follow Jesus.
