Everybody quick to say, βTitles donβt matter,β until they walk into a courtroom and call the judge βbro,β βοΈ walk into a hospital and call the surgeon βmy guy,β π©Ί or walk into the military and ignore rank ποΈ
Even fast food restaurants have titles π
Manager. Supervisor. Director. Owner.
Why? Because titles identify function, responsibility, accountability, and jurisdiction. π
The issue is not titles.
The issue is counterfeit titles. π¨
The Bible absolutely acknowledged offices, functions, and governmental order π₯
Apostles.
Prophets.
Evangelists.
Pastors.
Teachers.
Bishops.
Elders.
Deacons.
Paul said, βLet the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor.β π
Honor is connected to recognizing function.
When people refuse to honor legitimate offices and graces, many times it is not humility it is rebellion against order. β οΈ
What Heaven calls an Apostle, some people reduce to βjust a brother.β
What Heaven anoints as a Prophet, some call βjust gifted.β
What Heaven set in governmental order, culture tries to flatten. π
A title alone means nothing without fruit, character, doctrine, and process π±
But pretending offices do not exist is ignorance of Scripture and dishonor toward divine assignment.
Some of these mantles came through π₯
Fire.
Wilderness.
Persecution.
Rejection.
Sacrifice.
Intercession.
Years of crushing and refining. β³
This is not celebrity culture π€
This is Kingdom government π
There is a difference between self-exaltation and proper honor.
The Bible says, βKnow them which labor among you.β π
Not every preacher is a pastor.
Not every pastor is an apostle.
Not every gifted speaker carries governmental weight. βοΈ
Discern the difference between gifting and office.
Because gifting can impress people π
But office carries responsibility before God π₯
Kingdom order matters.
Honor matters.
Function matters.
And what God establishes should not be mocked by a generation addicted to casualness. ποΈ (Apostolic Brown)
