Craft time at VBS. The kids enjoy the opening ceremony with songs, skits, games and prizes, and then go to various stations such as the Bible lesson, outdoor game competition, craft class and snack time before returning to the sanctuary for Bible memory verse, songs and games and, yes, more prizes. Although much fun is woven into Vacation Bible school, the end goal is that they learn of and know Jesus better. Our prayer is that when they see the workers sing dozens of songs about Jesus throughout the week and teach them virtues of love, joy and peace, not fear, jealousy and frustration, that they will trust Him all their days as well through God times and bad. Each of the kids received a Salvation message several times this week. Pray for the Harvest.

Tonight is family night at Grace VBS starting at 6:00 p.m. for the kids and 7:15 for the adults. A full meal including sno cones, cotton candy, and popcorn for added fun, outdoor yard games and indoor table games.

We will see you at 6:00 tonight, and we will end at 8:00 pm in order to get everyone home by the predicted storm between 9:00 and 10:00 pm tonight for Northwest Indiana.
