*Service Without Recognition*

Lord Krsna values sincerity more than visibility.

There are examples of influential individuals—business leaders, professionals, and public figures—who willingly perform simple devotional services such as cleaning, cooking, or washing dishes without seeking acknowledgment.

The lesson is clear:

The purity of service is measured not by who notices it, but by the devotion with which it is offered.

Lord Krsna is especially pleased by service performed without expectation of praise, reward, or recognition...

*Perspectives on Money*

Modern society often equates success with money, status, and achievement.

Yet despite unprecedented prosperity, many people experience stress, burnout, anxiety, and a lack of fulfillment.

The Vedic perspective suggests that these problems arise because people focus heavily on _what they do_ and _how they do it,_ while neglecting _why they are doing it._

A meaningful life begins with clarity of purpose. When work, relationships, and ambitions are connected to higher values and service, they become sources of fulfillment rather than exhaustion.

*Father’s Day Thoughts*

Here are a few thoughts on fatherhood from a Kṛṣṇa conscious perspective.

* Who is the real Father? In Bg 9.17, Kṛṣṇa says _pitāham asya jagataḥ_. “I am the father of this entire universe.”
* Bg 11.43 says: _pitāsi lokasya_ - “You are the father of...the moving and nonmoving.”
* Bg 14.4 says: _aham bija-pradah pita_ - I am the seed-giving father

So today as we honor earthly fathers let's remember that the real Father is Kṛṣṇa; He who never leaves us, never gets old, never dies, and is always looking to guide us to our eternal home.

We have succeeded as father if we guide our dependents to remember, love, and go back to the Supreme Father, Kṛṣṇa.

In SB 5.5.18 Ṛṣabhadeva says: _pitā na sa syāj jananī na sā syāt_ - “One should not become a father...if he cannot deliver his child from the clutches of birth and death.”

There are four (non-negotiable) things a father can give his children which goes with them to the next life: 1. Taste for Kṛṣṇa’s holy name, 2. Sastric wisdom, 3. Service attitude, and 4. Devotee association.

Father provides to his dependents physical needs & safety as a first duty. But spiritual safety is important as well: Who are their friends? What are they watching? Home should be the safest place for children... physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Father should realize that they are really caretakers of their children for some years--that they are actually Kṛṣṇa’s children.

So on this Father’s Day, let's remember and honor our fathers and remember Krsna, Acyuta, the Father who never fails us...

🎶 Grand Kirtan Mela 2026 – First Time in the Capital District! 🎶

Hare Krishna!

We warmly invite you, your family, and friends to join us for this historic 60-Hour Non-Stop Kirtan Mela during the auspicious month of Puruṣottama Masa, celebrating ISKCON’s 60th Anniversary.

Why attend a Kirtan Mela?

💥The congregational chanting of the Holy Names is the recommended process for spiritual realization in this age of Kali.💥

🌻Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu taught:
“harer nāma harer nāma harer nāmaiva kevalam”
— In this age, there is no other way, no other way, no other way than chanting the Holy Name.

🌻The Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (12.3.51) declares:
“kīrtanād eva kṛṣṇasya mukta-saṅgaḥ paraṁ vrajet”
— Simply by chanting the Hare Krsna mahā-mantra, one can become free from material bo***ge and be promoted to the transcendental kingdom.

🌻Kirtan purifies the heart, awakens devotion, relieves anxiety, and brings spiritual joy.

🌻During the sacred month of Puruṣottama Masa, devotional activities such as hearing, chanting, and serving Lord Krishna grant extraordinary spiritual benefit.

Come experience the power of the Maha Mantra:

Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama
Rama Rama Hare Hare
