Reminder!! Our Back-to-School Clothing Drive is this Saturday, August 22 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church of Schenectady. Collecting clothing for children ages 2 to 18. We need all sizes from toddler to adult size 5X. New socks, underwear and sneakers are also appreciated. Thank you for any help you can provide to the children who request clothing from the Good Neighbor Program.

Please share this message to spread the word that The Good Neighbor Program is currently in need of Men's Big and Tall clothing in sizes 2X and up. This week we had a request for a teen who wears 4X. If you know someone who has these sizes to donate or if you are able to make a monetary gift so that we can purchase some larger sizes, we would be most grateful. See flyer for more info on how to donate.

Our mission is to make sure that every child we serve feels comfortable and confident to attend school and ready to learn. Please help us ensure that all children, no matter their size, are comfortable and happy with the clothing they receive from the Good Neighbor Program. Thank you for your generosity and continued support of the Good Neighbor Program!

Hard to believe that we are in Back-to-School season already but here we are and we know that many requests for school clothing will be coming soon.

May we ask that you think of us when:
-Cleaning out closets and finding things that your children have outgrown--please bring to the Good Neighbor Program--we accept gently used clothing for any season all year long.
-Shopping for your own children--please consider purchasing an extra clothing item or a package of socks or underwear for the Good Neighbor Program
-Donating -- please consider adding the Good Neighbor Program to the list of charities that you support--see flyer for details. Monetary donations help us to be able to purchase items when our inventory is low. No child goes without clothing items or sneakers if we do not have the sizes they need in stock. (Boys' clothing, sizes 8-18, is particularly difficult to keep on hand.)
-Praying--please keep the Good Neighbor Program and the children we serve in Schenectady County in your prayers--that we may fulfill the mission that Jesus asked of us in Matthew 25:36, 40. "I was naked and you clothed me..."
"...I assure you, as often as you did it for one of my least brothers, you did it for me."
