One of the most important needs in the lives of people today is a need to feel part of something bigger than ourselves. At LBC, we intend to disciple our people and empower them to sail into the area of ministry that would most satisfy the spiritual direction of the individual as they become a responsible component of the Church. We have lively Sunday School classes that encourage involvement and

welcomes discussion and questions. Our annual agenda includes, among many other things, monthly Men’s Prayer Breakfasts and Women’s Prayer Breakfasts. These intimate and practical meetings have proven to be a wonderful glue that binds the various people at LBC.

This Wednesday at 7 PM we will continue our series on "Great Prayers of the Bible" with Solomon | Prayer for Wisdom. Did you God wants to pray for this? He tells us to ask for wisdom in James 1:5-8 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. [6] But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. [7] For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. [8] A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." This Sunday is an exciting one! This Sunday morning at 11 AM we will have a Baby Dedication! We, of course, are dedicated the parents to raising their children for the Lord. On Wednesday at 7 PM, we will continue our study on the "Great Prayers of the Bible" and will be diving into Hezekiah's prayer for deliverance. This is a powerful account of God hearing our request and responding! It will be a wonderful service! Of course we will finish out the night with prayer requests from the auditorium and prayer for each other! This is a high point of the week, so don't miss it!
