What did come was harder to explain.

His faith didn't collapse. It grew tenfold. A deep trust in Christ was forged not through freedom from suffering, but through the suffering itself. Gentleness. Spiritual depth. A marriage that was saved.

At his memorial, his wife said: "The cancer and disability saved our marriage."

Steven became a witness to something the world rarely understands: Jesus is still enough – even in the midst of unanswered prayers.

A man is lowered through a roof. Jesus looks past his paralysis and says, "Your sins are forgiven."

The crowd wanted a healed body. Jesus gave forgiven sins first.

Because the deepest wound isn't physical – it's separation from God.

We're all on some kind of mat. Pain, grief, addiction, fear, unanswered prayers. The question isn't if you're broken. It's who will carry you to Jesus.

Sometimes healing doesn't look like we hoped. But Jesus is still enough.

God doesn't just love you. He likes you.

He desires you. He joined us, lived among us, died for us – to make us His own.

A medieval poet imagined Jesus on the eve of His return, saying:

"Tomorrow shall be my dancing day. I would my true love did so chance to see the legend of my play... Oh, how I wish you'd see how much I want to dance with you."

He's not waiting to scold you. He's waiting to dance with you.
