On this Memorial Day, we give thanks for all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in serving our country, and pray for their families and friends, who may still be grieving. If you’d like to help make Historic Greenville Cemetery beautiful, join us for a clean-up this Saturday, May 30, from 10:00am to Noon. It’s located in the hill behind the mini-mall at 590 Central Park Avenue.

GCC members and friends have been out and about the last few days! This morning, a team helped Feeding Westchester provide more than 300 meals to the community. And on Saturday, 25 of us gathered for a good ol’ fashioned night of bowling. More great times to come!

We join with the World Council of Churches in praying for peace, especially after the language expressed by President Trump this morning.

On this Holy Saturday, we offer this taste of David Shenton's arrangement of "Abide with Me," performed this past Maundy Thursday. It's a reminder that God is always with us. Join us tomorrow morning for an Easter celebration--either a 20-minute outdoor sunrise service at 6:30am in Memorial Garden (with bagels following!), or a full celebration with choir, brass and strings at 10:00am. (David Shenton, piano; Erin Shields, soprano; Jen Clover, alto; David Bailey, tenor.)

Join us at 10:00am for Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week. The service—which begins with joyful celebration and ends on a solemn note—ushers us in to a prolonged meditation on Jesus’ final days as we look toward the cross, and beyond it. Return to church on Maundy Thursday at 7pm for a moving worship experience of musical reflection, and Good Friday at noon for a 30-minute congregational reading of the Passion story. The week concludes with a grand Easter celebration on April 5 at 10:00am featuring choir, strings and brass—and an egg hunt for the kids!
