Did you know that we have a seed library? Our wonderful office manager/volunteer coordinator/plant whisperer Katie put it together! Here are a few of her tips about donating seeds:

1. Donate seeds at the seed library (ask at a desk if you can't find it). There is a little dish (pictured) with forms about your seeds. It's okay if you don't know everything, but we would prefer more than just "beans." Are they pole beans? Bush beans? Magic beans?*

2. Please do not put seeds into the seed library yourself. Please leave them in an envelope in the dish, with the description. Volunteers divvy the seeds up so each envelope contains only a few seeds so more people have the chance to sample a seed variety.

**I feel like people should know if they're planting magic beans. Not only would HOAs probably object to giant beanstalks, but we'd probably need some kind of waiver just in case giants start falling out of the sky.

Questions? Email Katie! [email protected]

And keep an eye out for the return of our gleaning table in mid-June!
