The Shepherd of the Hills church picnic was a wonderful success today even though it was postponed due to rain from August 10. We had great food, enjoyed watching the Ark float, fished, and played bingo.

The Ark floated! The Ark built during Vacation Bible School at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church floated for 15 solid minutes on the pond. It went on 5 voyages, with 5 different passengers if you include the dog.

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church had another good year of Vacation Bible School in 2025. We will put the ark in the water during the church picnic, which has been postponed to September 7 after the 10 a.m. service.
