Into the Sacred In 2023, we celebrate our 100th year of welcoming children and youth, families and groups our wooded splendor.

Tower Hill Camp in Sawyer, Michigan was born with the express purpose of providing a place of rest, comfort, and recreation for ministers and youth connected with the mission of what is now the Illinois Conference of the United Church of Christ. Our property includes 30 acres of wooded trails and a beautiful sandy beach on Lake Michigan. Please come join us for an experience that will enrich your lives!

What a weekend! We have a family reunion of folks who have been coming since 1975. A family who have been part of HUG camp for generations. The annual women’s retreat from Westchester Community Church and the all church retreat from First Congregational UCC of Naperville, IL.

The place is filled with the scent of grills and campfires, and the sound of adults and young people laughing and playing.

Kaylee is part of the Lombard church and grew up coming to Godstock.
Lily returns from last year and is leading the summer staff this year.

One of the wonderful aspects of going to camp is the life-changing experience it provides, allowing people to engage with nature and learn more about themselves. Our goal is to create welcoming environments where youth can form enduring friendships, and adults of all ages can deepen their spiritual ties.
