MOTHER’S DAY 2026 was a great blessing from on high. We were blessed with an inspirational message from Rev. Jay Jones encouraging the mothers to not give up when life gets a little hard. We must be encouraged by the perseverance of our foremothers and mothers. Life isn’t always a crystal stairs BUT we must keep moving and climbing higher in Christ Jesus.

Our worship service culminated with a fabulous full course dinner prepared by the mighty magnificent men of Taylor Chapel. We paused for a moment to honor the oldest mothers of the church. They are as follows: Mother(s) Mary Mason, Irene Albright, & Barbara Moon. We wanted to give them their flowers while they are yet living and can see and smell them.

The Sons of Allen also thought it not robbery to present Pastor Mells with a bouquet of flowers and a gift card. Pastor Mells and the First family presented gift bags to all of the mothers. We were blessed from beginning to end. To God Be The Glory 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

We honor ALL mothers & mother figures today. Please feel free to worship with us today at 11:00. Our speaker for this special occasion is Bro. Jay Jones. A special dinner catered by the men of Taylor Chapel will be served afterwards.

IMMEDIATE UPDATE- Worship Service February 1, 2026

Due to the predictions of inclement weather and out of caution for the safety and well-being of our parishioners, in person worship service is CANCELLED for tomorrow. We will have service on our virtual platform ZOOM.

We will still participate in holy communion service. Please have either some crackers or white bread, grape juice or water nearby your worship station. Please be safe and stay warm.
