Blessed Sacrament Church CCW Blessed Sacrament Catholic Council of Women empowers the women of our parish in spirituality, leadership & community service.

Blessed Sacrament CCW meets from 6:30 pm in the parish conference room on the second Monday of the month (unless noted otherwise in the bulletin). Our meetings serve to plan our special events and projects while having fun! Refreshments are always provided in a co-op fashion. We are a group of women passionate about serving the parish community in some of the following ways:
• Providing Baptismal

packets to all newly baptized babies (includes hand stitched cross, crib medal, and prayer cards).
• Hosting “Donut Sundays” on the first Sunday of the month during the school year.
• Coming together in prayer for our RCIA candidates, First Holy Communion children, vocations, and other special prayer needs. We also send cards of prayer to all these groups.
• Hosting and/or helping with various parish functions, enabling our parishioners to enjoy fun and fellowship (e.g., Lenten Soup & Stations, Grand Marshall’s Breakfast, Thanksgiving potluck, etc.).
• Providing bereavement support to the parish (delivering food and condolences to families).
• Welcoming guest speakers to learn about topics of interest (e.g., health) and community needs that align with our Gospel values and may benefit from our assistance (e.g., Savannah Care Center)
• Serving the needs of the Diocese and Savannah community through philanthropic donations (e.g., Baby Bottle Campaign), meal preparation (e.g., vocation camp supper), and supportive tasks (e.g., assisting when parish hosts Interfaith Hospitality guests). We are most proud of our Blessed Sacrament Cookbook, reflecting hundreds of special recipes from our parish and school community. All proceeds support the CCW’s parish and community outreach efforts. The Blessed Sacrament CCW strives to be an integral, life-giving and Faith-sharing part of our Blessed Sacrament parish.
