We will start reading Love Your Neighbor by Katherine M. Douglass and Brittany M. Tausen in June as a part of our classes with Butler Presbyterian Church and we hope our whole church joins us in reading the book this summer. We know many of you will be traveling or spending time in your favorite reading spots, please add this book to your summer reading list!

Another moment! This time it’s the 1900 Session portrait! This would have been about 50+ years before the church moved to its current home in Chatham Crescent.

What a joy it was to host the faculty and staff of Savannah Arts Academy for their end-of-year luncheon last Friday! As neighbors, we see the dedication and creativity these educators pour into their students every day. It was a privilege to provide a space for them to slow down, reflect, and celebrate a phenomenal school year.

During the event, they recognized the incredible teachers who are retiring or moving on to new chapters, while celebrating the many artistic and academic accomplishments achieved this year. Our wonderful church volunteers pulled out all the stops, providing a delicious spread of food to fuel and thank these hardworking professionals for their service to our community's youth.

Today we pause to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸 May we honor their sacrifice by living out the values of peace, faith, and service in our own community.

In observance of Memorial Day, the church office will be closed on Monday, May 25. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday.
We wish everyone a safe and meaningful holiday weekend.🌞

Tomorrow is Pentecost Sunday! 🔥

Join us at 11:00 AM as we celebrate the pouring out of the Holy Spirit. We are delighted to have Rev. Dr. Kim Jackson share a message of hope and restoration titled, "Jesus Said to Them Again, 'Peace Be With You.'"

The Chancel Choir will lead us in worship with two powerful selections.

Don't forget to wear red! ❤️ We wear red on Pentecost to symbolize the "tongues of fire" and the vital spirit of our faith community. Whether you’re joining us in the sanctuary or tuning in online, we can't wait to worship with you.

Did you know one of Savannah’s historic steeples is no longer on the skyline? ⛪

Check out our old sanctuary at Bull and Taylor Streets, photographed alongside two other historic downtown churches. (left)

It’s a beautiful reminder that while buildings may change or move, the "Servant Church" that started on that corner is still going strong today!
