We invite you to join us at First Presbyterian Church of Savannah for Sunday School at 9:30 AM, followed by Worship at 11:00 AM. The nursery is available for children under age 3 and older children are invited Children's Worship!

Throwback Thursday to 1956!

Take a look at this program cover from the Laying of the Sanctuary Cornerstone! Following WWII, our congregation took on the massive effort to raise funds for a permanent sanctuary. Until this point, all church gatherings and worship services took place inside the Sunday School Building on Washington Ave.

A few fun history notes to spot in this architectural drawing:

🌳Our sanctuary layout looks almost identical today—just add decades of growth to those trees!

⛪Notice the original Sunday School Building sitting right beside it before the John Knox Room or Stewart Hall were ever built.

✨No covered walkway yet connecting the buildings like the one we use every Sunday.

It’s incredible to look back at where we started and see how far First Presbyterian has grown!

Calling all First Pres youth! 🍕🔥 Get ready for our Youth Pizza Bake-Off this Sunday, August 30 from 6:00–7:30 PM!

Each youth group will form a team to create, cook, and devour their own custom pizzas. Afterward, everyone gets to vote on awards like:
🍕 Favorite Topping Combo
🍕 Tastiest Pizza Crust
🍕 Most Interesting Pizza Toppings
🍕 Most Likely to Be on a Food Network Show

We’ll also have games and prizes throughout the night! All youth are welcome!
