Why "Reformed"? Because of the conviction that the core ideas that spurned the protestant reformation are still well, alive and needed today. These principles are not the antiquated ideas of yesterday. For the Christian who understands this we are not idolizing a time in church history but simply belive the values and sentiments of the reformers are exactly what the chruch has always needed. To glorify God and enjoy him forever, to study the scriptures diligently as our final word and authority. To wright down, confess and teach what we believe the scriptures to have taught us by the working of the Spirit. We belive the gospel of Jesus Christ is central. That a rich understanding of salvation gives God all the praise. That worship should be done orderly in Spirit and truth. And on this we want to form our worship, our daily lives and how we can reach out to bring the good news to our neighbors. If you want to learn more contact me through this page.

I'm still praying for at least one other man of God who sees the need for a Reformed Confessional church in this town. One who will act as a fellow planter. I can't do this on my own and I don't believe thats the model of planting a church. Jesus sent them out by two. I'm not a teaching elder. I'm just a layman but if we get this going God will provide. I have a way to get a teaching elder that will lead services at least once a month once this gets rolling. If you are reading this and maybe live out of town or don't feel called to this kind of church would you at least pray.
