TUESDAY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. Please join us for the Wednesday evening prayer meeting and Bible study. We will meet at 6 p.m. on June 17, in Artley Hall. Butch Murphy will be leading the study.

2. Invite a friend to worship with you on June 21, as we celebrate the Father's Day. Dan Wills will be bringing the message from Matthew 10:24-39.

4. Please join us for the 1st Fellowship Breakfast, 9 a.m. on June 21, in Artley Hall. We will have pancakes and bacon. Come join us and we will celebrate all dads, too.

5. We will have a church picnic on Saturday, June 27, at Camp Kicklighter. Plan to arrive around 10:00 a.m. We will eat around 12:00. Swimming is available. Please R.S.V.P. and let Jessica know what dishes you plan to bring to go with fried chicken. So far, we have baked beans, rolls, pasta salad, and carrots.
Camp Kicklighter is located at 1182 Camp Kicklighter Road, Townsend, GA.

6. There will be no Sunday fellowship luncheons during the summer months.

7. We are still collecting items for the Navajo shoeboxes. Please pick up a revised list from the table in the narthex.

3. The congregation of First Christian Church extends deepest sympathy to Deborah Womack on the death of her father, Charles Edwards and to Melba Gibson on the death of her sister, Myra Halfacre.

4. The family of Myra Halfacre wishes to thank First Christian Church for your kind expressions of sympathy during this time of bereavement. The arrangement of flowers sent to the funeral were beautiful and were much appreciated by the family.

NAVAJO CHRISTMAS BOX NEWSFLASH
First Christian Church is underway with our collection for the Navajo Christmas boxes. We are deeply thankful for the response we have already received from you for this beloved service to these children. Cheryl and the Navajo team would like to provide an update on the progress. Our goal this year is to fill approximately 230 boxes, including 30 for babies, 100 for girls, and 100 for boys, across various age groups.
This month, we are focusing on clothing. Here is our current need status.
Girls: sizing and ages are estimates
S small (2-4 and 5-7 years), M medium (8-10 years), L large (11-14 years)
Socks: Need 10 pairs of each of S, M, and 68 pairs of L to give 2 pairs per box
Gloves: Need 34 pairs each of S, M, L
Scarves: Need 99
Underwear: Need 68 S, 47 M. 47 L to give 2 each per box
Boys: sizing and ages are estimates
S small (2-4 and 5-7 years), M medium (8-10 years), L large (11-14 years)
Socks: Need 68 pairs of S, 68 pairs of M, to give two pairs per box
(We already have enough L.)
Gloves: Need 34 pairs of each S, M, L

We have already received several donations in other categories, such as school supplies, toiletries, and toys which we will highlight next month. We are also dedicated to putting a Bible in each box this year. Thank you for your continued generosity in making this endeavor a success.
