1. Please join us for the Wednesday evening prayer meeting and Bible study. We will meet at 6 p.m. on May 27, in Artley Hall. Butch Murphy will be leading the study.

2. Invite a friend to worship with you on May 31, as we celebrate Trinity Sunday. Dan Wills will be bringing the message from Matthew 28:16-20.

3. Everyone is invited to the fellowship meal on Sunday, May 31. Please bring sides to compliment fried chicken.

5. The Camp Kicklighter Crew will return on Saturday, May 30, 2026 after a Waffle House breakfast. The women will be headed to the camp Saturday, June 6 to start up the kitchen. The arrival time will be determined. The Camp Crew may attend that day, too, to finalize repairs/projects.

NAVAJO CHRISTMAS BOX NEWSFLASH
First Christian Church is underway with our collection for the Navajo Christmas boxes. We are deeply thankful for the response we have already received from you for this beloved service to these children. Cheryl and the Navajo team would like to provide an update on the progress. Our goal this year is to fill approximately 230 boxes, including 30 for babies, 100 for girls, and 100 for boys, across various age groups.
This month, we are focusing on clothing. Here is our current need status.
Girls: sizing and ages are estimates
S small (2-4 and 5-7 years), M medium (8-10 years), L large (11-14 years)
Socks: Need 10 pairs of each of S, M, and 68 pairs of L to give 2 pairs per box
Gloves: Need 34 pairs each of S, M, L
Scarves: Need 99
Underwear: Need 68 S, 47 M. 47 L to give 2 each per box
Boys: sizing and ages are estimates
S small (2-4 and 5-7 years), M medium (8-10 years), L large (11-14 years)
Socks: Need 68 pairs of S, 68 pairs of M, to give two pairs per box
(We already have enough L.)

We have already received several donations in other categories, such as school supplies, toiletries, and toys which we will highlight next month. We are also dedicated to putting a Bible in each box this year. Thank you for your continued generosity in making this endeavor a success.

5. Thanks to everyone who volunteered this past Saturday for Congregations in Service. We had a wonderful participation and everyone had fun in the kitchen. Thank you again. We could not have done it without each one of you. We are looking forward to the fall event.
