The Diocese of Savannah is hiring an Educational Support Coordinator for the Office of Catholic Schools!

The Office of Catholic Schools operates within the Catholic Pastoral Center serving approximately 5,000 students and 1,000 employees in 15 Catholic schools throughout South Georgia. Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Schools, the Educational Support Coordinator assists the Office of Catholic Schools team in administrative responsibilities in support of Catholic schools. The coordinator shares in the responsibility to provide and maintain a Catholic Christian environment conducive to fulfill the mission of the Church.

Candidates should:
• Be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church
• Have earned a high school diploma; certificate/degree from an accredited college/university preferred
• Have three to five years of successful administrative experience
• Exhibit an understanding of Catholic Theology and philosophy of Catholic education

Submission deadline is July 1.

On Wednesday, May 27th, join the Eucharistic Procession through historic downtown Savannah: From Park Avenue at the south end of Forsyth Park to the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist, Savannah, GA. Participants are encouraged to bring sun protection, a water bottle, and insect repellent. Street parking is limited. Paid parking and parking garages are available throughout downtown Savannah.

3 PM – 6 PM
Eucharistic Adoration
Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist, 222 E. Harris St., Savannah, GA 31401
Street parking is limited. Paid parking and parking garages are available in downtown Savannah. This period of Adoration will be followed by a more formal Holy Hour with a guided reflection.

6 PM – 7 PM
Solemn Vespers with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament

On Thursday, May 28th, join us for a 9 AM Mass of Thanksgiving at
Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist, 222 E. Harris St., Savannah, GA 31401. Parking is limited. Paid parking and parking garages are available in downtown Savannah.

From 10 AM – 11 AM, the Eucharistic Procession will depart the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist and proceed to St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church, 441 East Broad Street.

11 AM – 12 PM
Eucharistic Adoration will take place at St. Benedict the Moor Church

1 PM – 1:30 PM
Transfer to Diocese of Charleston

Join us for Mass this weekend, Pentecost Sunday. We offer a Vigil Mass at 5:30 PM on Saturday. We offer Masses at 8 AM, 10 AM, and 11:30 AM on Sunday. We will livestream the 10:00 AM Mass here on Facebook and on our website at savannahcathedral.org. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is this Saturday from 11 AM until 11:45 AM and from 4:15 PM to 5:00 PM. We have a Noon Mass on Saturday
