In this sermon, Pastor Rick Temple challenges believers to recognize that sincerity and confidence do not automatically make their conclusions correct, using Saul’s persecution of the early church as an example of someone who was completely convinced yet sincerely wrong. He emphasizes that spiritual growth requires humility—the willingness to examine inherited beliefs, recognize how wrong conclusions affect others, and reconsider our thinking when God confronts what we believe.
