Dear Lord, as our kids and teachers jump into a new year, we lift them up to You! We ask that You would protect them and guide them. Help them to listen with ears and minds. Help them see with Your eyes. Help them to be Your hands and feet when they can. Help them to grow and learn. Thank You for promising that You are walking with them in the school's halls and classrooms. As parents, we worry about them when we can't be around to protect them. Knowing You are there is a relief! I pray that You would place friends together who will encourage each other and build each other up. Give them focus when needed, fun when needed, and strength and stamina to get through each day. We thank You, Lord, for protecting our families! We ask all of this in Your precious Son's name!

This was our end-of-summer bash! Everyone had so much fun! Remember to pray for these kids as they prepare to start the school year! Pray for parents and teachers as well!
