Weather Impact for Sunday, February 1, 2026

7 AM, Sunday, 1 February

Good Morning!

We are holding Sunday service offerings this morning! Holy Eucharist services are at 8 and 10:30 a.m with Adult Sunday School at 9:15 a.m.

Other Sunday offerings, such as nursery and hospitality may have to be adjusted based on availability of those serving in those ministries.

Please be careful as there are slick spots on some streets. If you choose to stay home - please note the 10:30 a.m. service is livestreamed on our Youtube channel. The Order of Worship for this service and a link to the YouTube channel is available on our Media page on the church website.

We will be holding both our 8 and 10:30 AM services, along with Adult Sunday School. A decision on other offerings such as nursery and hospitality will be made by 7 AM on Feb 1.

The best way to confirm is to check our website after 7 AM on 2/1.

At this time, we do plan to hold our current Sunday service offerings. Holy Eucharist services at 8 and 10:30 a.m., along with our Sunday Schools and Confirmation Class offerings.

However, Fr. Craig will be making a decision after 8 p.m. this evening based on road conditions and our schedule may be adjusted based on weather and travel conditions.

Please check our website before venturing out in the morning for a final decision - which will be posted prior to 7 AM on 2/1/2026.

This is a disaster threatening to become a catastrophe.

Last night, Jerry lost his glasses in the chaos. Nearly blind, he broke protocol and walked half a mile in the dark to find a new pair.

The shop owner, barely surviving in this devastated economy, insisted Jerry take the glasses as a gift, for simply standing with the Kurdish people.

When Jerry offered to pay, the man finally agreed - to support his wife and two kids. Then, through Google Translate, he held out his phone and said:

“I love you.”

We stayed when others left. Now we need your help to keep going.

This darling held by Moon River is now held by the eternal arms of God. Leukemia took her life last Thursday morn. Oh how we loved her so.

Among too many other beautiful things to count, the image depicts the “why” for our monthly Fourth Friday Retreat—rest in God. It’s an invitation to come and be held in our belovedness. We gather from 9am-1pm (8:30am for a cup of tea or coffee), and use ancient practices to engage with God and His Scriptures both together & alone. There are no rules; it can be a set-apart time for solitude, and/or spiritual direction, confession, strolling in the woods, painting on the dock, time in the Word, weeping, sleeping, rejoicing, asking...just come as you are.
