While we wish everyone a happy Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God. We also want to recognize that today makes one year since Mr. Douglas began his work as Organist & Choirmaster of St. John's Church in Savannah. Mr. Douglas says, "I am just as excited now about the work ahead of us as I was when I arrived one year ago. I am grateful for the continued support of the clergy, wardens, vestry, and music committee. I am especially thankful for the diligence of the choir members over the past year. Their progress has been outstanding and I look forward to our continued growth as a community and ensemble." The past year has seen a great deal of rebuilding of the music program of St. John's and we will be announcing some new exciting initiatives here soon. For now, we ask you to pray for the clergy and musicians of St. John's Church that they may continue to inspire our hearts and minds in worship.
