Pastor John's chair awaits his return from summer vacation and General Assembly. Each week, we welcome a different speaker to share a message with us. J.J. Collins was our first guest, delivering a powerful message and music that left us wanting more. The second week, Amanda Willis, a member of our congregation, shared a challenging message with us. Sisters and brothers, we have just learned that Georgia Crumpler has joined Christ in death. We are united with the family in grieving this loss and we pray that Divine love and peace envelop us all. God, draw near. Plans will be clarified when the family returns from their vacations. Thank God for a life and a legacy well lived.

Check this out: a way to connect in worship around our denomination’s national gathering (General Assembly):

On Sunday, June 28, commissioners and advisory delegates to the 227th General Assembly will fan out across Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to worship with congregations at area PC(USA) churches. As of this week, worship planners and leaders across the country have a new resource to help them put together a worship service in their own context for that Sunday or another Sunday of their choosing. On the first Sunday in June, our worship service underwent notable changes, including Communion, choir singing with the accompaniment of our small grand piano, and the introduction of a new member.✝️

The Holy Spirit has been with our church this week. From hosting our Presbytery for lunch, worship and meeting. To our Pentecost worship service this morning. 🔥

The news is circulating, so let us join in prayer. Neighbors Feeding Neighbors is pursuing their next step location. Let us give thanks for the God who had us meet on the road. Let us pray for blessings as they prepare to take their next move. And let us help them make any connections that would be helpful. We are siblings in Christ and we trust that the Lord will ensure all things work together for good. July 1st will be the threshold day
