This past Sunday, we had the privilege of sending off Pastor Michelle on her last Sunday with us. After 12 years of faithful ministry at SIMC, we are so thankful for all her time here with us. She will be transitioning into a Senior Pastor role down in St. Mary's, GA.

We wish her the very best and cannot wait to see what God has in store for her.

Our 3rd Annual Honduras Fundraising Dinner & Cake Auction was a HUGE SUCCESS! We had so many families come out to support our team going to Honduras in July, and everyone had a blast.

During the cake auction alone, we raised $7,400!! Now, ALL MEMBERS of our team have a sponsor! Thank you to everyone who donated AND to all our wonderful volunteers who spent many hours to make this night possible. Praise God for the generosity of our church!

Happy Mother's Day from SIMC! 🌷

We are so thankful for all of our mothers and mother figures. Thank you for all you do and for the life you bring into our church!

This Sunday, we had the privilege of hearing our Children's Choir and our Handbell Choir during our time of worship. We also celebrated church members who recently completed our Disciple 4 program, committing themselves to going deeper in their knowledge and relationship with Christ.

What a blessing it is to be part of such a growing, lively church that is hungry for more of Christ!

Our last CREW gathering for our 3rd-5th graders was this past Sunday, and we had a BLAST! We've had a great year with our students learning more about Jesus and having fun along the way.

We will miss our 5th graders as they move up to YTH, and we can't wait to watch these children grow!

DAY OF SERVICE RECAP!

This past Saturday, we had church members of all ages serve our local community of Savannah all across the board. From serving food, organizing, and building beds, our church family was the hands and feet of Jesus this weekend.

One of our members said, "Duane and I, along with four other ladies from the Spiritual Growth class had an excellent day at OSCM today. We helped prepare, plate, and serve some fifty friends and neighbors lunch at the mission. I also gave a brief talk on the Two Greatest Commandments at the “Bringing the Word” time prior to the meal. Our contributions were very well received and appreciated. They would love us to come back any time we’re available in the future."

Thank you so much to all of our coordinators and volunteers who showed up this weekend to give your time and talents for the Kingdom. This Day of Service truly was an example of what it means to be the Church.
