BIBLE STUDY: OBEDIENCE vs DISOBEDIENCE (NUMBERS16)
THE POWER OF OUR CONNECTIONS/RELATIONSHIPS

Many people believe their greatest battle is with the devil. Sometimes it isn't. Sometimes the greatest battle is deciding who we will follow.

Numbers 16 teaches us that rebellion is contagious. Obedience is contagious too.

The people we choose to listen to, walk with, defend, and remain connected to determine whether we experience God's blessing or His judgment.

Sometimes God is not calling us to leave a place because it is uncomfortable. He is calling us to leave because remaining connected to certain people can cost us our destiny.

The story of Korah is not just about rebellion—it is about influence. Korah never forced anyone to follow him; people chose to stand with him. Likewise, Moses could not make the people obey; they had to choose whom they would follow.

Every day, we make the same decision. We choose whose voice will shape our lives, whose influence we will embrace, and which relationships we will protect. Obedience often requires courage, humility, and, at times, separation. Yet it is through obedience that God preserves our purpose, protects our destiny, and positions us for His promises.

THIS WEEK:

1. Pray and ask God to reveal unhealthy relationships.
2. Evaluate every close connection according to Scripture rather than emotion.
3. Choose obedience, even when it requires difficult separation.
4. Seek godly counsel before making major decisions.
5. Commit to becoming the kind of friend and leader who points others toward obedience rather than rebellion.

Death is never easy, but my prayer is that God will give us the strength to grieve in a healthy way and that grief will never overtake us.

With a heavy heart, I ask that you keep Min. John Lee and the entire Anderson family lifted in prayer as we mourn the loss of our loved one. He was a father, brother, and friend who will truly be missed.

Your identity is not in your past, pain, failures, title, or struggles. Your identity is rooted in God. When you know who you are in Him, you stop living beneath what God has called you to become.

The enemy attacks identity because identity affects purpose. But WHEN YOU KNOW who you are in God, you walk boldly in power, authority, confidence, healing, and freedom.

PRAYER: Father, in the name of JESUS, thank You for creating us with purpose & loving us unconditionally. Lord, help us to see ourselves the way YOU see us. Break EVERY false identity, insecurity, and lie of the enemy. Teach us to walk BOLDLY in who YOU called us to be. Renew our minds and strengthen our confidence in You.
In JESUS' name we pray, AMEN!
