When you enter the JEA building you will be required to sign in at the desk. To the left is an elevator, go to 2nd fl, straight ahead is our meeting room. St. Francis of the Islands has been wonderfully warm and welcoming to us, but some members and attenders find the trek a bit much so we've found a new location and hope to have it for a very long time.
Beginning in July, we'll be meeting at the Jewish Educational Alliance, 5111 Abercorn St. Savannah, GA 31405
Our room is on the second floor, opposite the elevator.
Meanwhile for the rest of June we're on Wilmington Island and very appreciative of St. Francis church.

This Sunday, Meeting will be at St. Francis of the Islands!

We have a new location for Savannah Friends Meeting; we'll be at St. Francis of the Islands Episcopal Church. We were very much hoping to have a place more centrally located but having very little time to work it out and having two possible places fall through at the last minute we were running out of time and are very lucky to have this new location beginning in June.

The Savannah Friends Meeting (Quakers) formally denounces the rapid disintegration of democracy in the United States over the past year. President Trump has been convicted of 34 felonies and flagrantly undermined the rule of law. This administration has eroded the citizens’ voting rights, rolled back climate and environmental protections, and subjected citizens and non-citizens to violent tactics.
The Executive Branch is openly promoting white supremacism, and denying basic rights to Blacks, Latinos, g**s, transsexuals, and others. Perhaps most serious of all, the Constitution and the law have been flagrantly violated numerous times. Judicial decisions on immigrant rights and Constitutional requirements for congressional approval of the President’s actions have been ignored. While American citizens are busy trying to live through a challenging economic period, this Administration has passed tax laws that favor the wealthy and gutted consumer protections.
More than any past president, the current president has degraded governmental norms and thrives in a culture of divisiveness. The Savannah Friends Meeting urges other faith groups and concerned individuals to resist this slide into authoritarianism. The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) has for centuries fought for human rights—by opposing slavery and unnecessary wars, and by supporting the needs of the poor and disenfranchised. At a time like this, doing nothing effectively allows this authoritarian movement to permanently damage our sacred democracy.

🙏 It was so beautiful for us all—from different faiths, traditions, cultures, and walks of life—to walk and stand together under a sacred space today at Washington National Cathedral on Day 108 (2/10/2026), united in our shared longing for peace, mindfulness, loving-kindness, compassion, and unity.

In that moment, our differences didn't separate us. They enriched us. We stood together, not as strangers from different paths, but as one human family seeking the same gentle light: peace.

May all division gently fade like morning mist. May peace and harmony bring us all together, not just today, but always. May we remember this feeling of standing together, and carry it forward into our lives.

May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace. 🙏✨
