The Black Catholic Ministry Revival starts this coming Monday!👇

The 2026 Black Catholic Revival will be June 1–3 in Savannah! This year's revivalist is Fr. Ajani Gibson, from St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in New Orleans.

Monday, June 1, will be at Sacred Heart. Tuesday, June 2, will be at St. Benedict the Moor. Wednesday, June 3, Youth Night, will be at Resurrection of Our Lord. Each day begins with Devotion/Praise & Worship at 6:30 pm, followed by a Revival Service at 7 pm.

We had a beautiful Mass and gathering today celebrating our Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in the diocese. It was truly a blessing to see such wonderful representation from the Korean, Filipino, and Vietnamese communities at St. James in Savannah, and to celebrate the richness of our faith through a Mass in four languages—a powerful reminder of the beauty of our diverse Church.

A special thank you to St. James Church for your warm hospitality!
Thank you to all the priests and deacons for your support, and to Bishop Parkes for such a beautiful and meaningful celebration of the Eucharist.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who made this event possible - the food was absolutely delicious!

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! The AAPI Month Mass with Bishop Parkes is tomorrow, Saturday, April 11, at St. James, Savannah. Mass will be at 11 am, followed by a reception.

We will begin with Mass celebrated by Bishop Parkes, followed by lunch with delicious Korean, Filipino, and Vietnamese food!!
