Baptism is more than a symbol- it’s a sacred moment where faith becomes active and a declaration that you are stepping into everything Jesus purchased for you. We’re so grateful to have been able to celebrate with those who made that declaration this past Sunday, and pray the Lord blesses them as they continue to follow Him!
“Therefore, we were buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Romans 6:4

Just 2 more sleeps until we’re back together, lifting up the name of Jesus!

SUNDAY SERMON RECAP! 🗣️

Sin always overpromises “something better” but leaves us with fear and shame. Adam and Eve expected their eyes to be opened, but instead they found themselves hiding in the bushes. And sin didn’t just fracture their relationship with God; it brought shame within themselves, blame toward others, and toil into creation.

When God asks, “where are you?”, we see that even in response to humanity’s hiding, He is still always pursuing us.

We can’t cover shame with our own version of fig leaves like religion, performance, distraction, achievement, or anything else. God Himself provides the covering. The promise begins in Genesis 3 and finds its fulfillment in Jesus, who carried our sin and shame to the cross.

Where are you? What are you hiding behind? What are you believing about God that isn’t true? You don’t have to carry what Jesus has already covered. There is no room for shame in the life of a new creation.

SERMON RECAP! 🗣️

Genesis 2 reminds us of something simple but profound: we are dust.
And yet, God remembers us.
Psalm 103:14 says, “He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.”
That means we don’t have to live in arrogance, pretending we’re more than we are. And we don’t have to live in self-loathing, believing we’re less than we are.
We are His creation—formed by Him, known by Him, and made for relationship with Him.
That’s where our story begins. 🤍
