Our Riverview Celebration choir went to the Memphis/Covington areas this past weekend for a short mission trip that will never be forgotten.
“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Mark 16:15
Saturday morning the choir sang and Bro. Jonathan gave a devotion during the chapel time at the Memphis Union Mission. The choir and theirs families present, from young to old, then served lunch to the precious souls they are allowed to be the hands and feet of Jesus to each week.
Saturday evening, the choir joined with the Barnetts, the Inmans, and the Bradfords at Mt Lebanon Baptist Church in Covington for a concert…Gaither style! The Holy Spirit met with us and His praises were lifted high! Glory to God and thank you Jesus!
Sunday morning, the choir lead in singing and Bro. Allen gave a powerful message titled ‘The Oh Factor’ at Pleasant Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Memphis. It was a service like none other! History was made for the church, mission opportunities were opened for the future, the Lord was worshiped in one accord with brothers and sisters in Christ, and what a time was had!
All weekend, the presence of the Lord was felt, His love and gift of eternal life was shared, and the choir joined as one body in His name to do His work.
