Somewhere along the way......
A lot of us got the idea that we have to clean ourselves up before God will have anything to do with us.
Get the habit under control first. Fix the relationship first.
But that’s not how God works. He doesn’t wait at a distance for the polished version of you. He comes close to the real one. Mess and all.
Wherever you are today, that’s where He meets you.❤️

We prayed.🙏🏾
We worshiped.🙌🏾
We opened the Word.📖
We laughed a little.😅
Some of us cried a little.🥲
And through all of it, God met us.
We’re so grateful for this church family and what
God is doing among us.

One conversation at a park turned into an invitation.
One invitation turned into a church family.
That is what Bring One is about.
You never know what God can do through a simple, “Come with me.” Who is your one?

June 19, 1865. The last enslaved people in Texas learned they were free. Two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

Freedom delayed is still freedom declared.

Today we remember. We honor. And we look to the One who sets the truly captive free.

Love carries what comfort avoids.
The four friends in Mark 2 could have stopped at the crowd and said, “Well, we tried.” But love does not tap out just because it got inconvenient. Love figures it out. Love makes a way.
Love carries people to Jesus.
So, here’s the question: Who is your one?

What a Sunday at Restoration Church!
Music had us having a moment, the word was timely, and it was just good being together as a church family.
Grateful for what God is building here.

Sometimes your One is closer than you think.

A daughter invited her mom, and for the first time as adults, they’re sitting in church side by side. For her, it’s more than a Sunday seat. As a new mom and wife herself, it’s another chance to grow closer to the woman who raised her.

That’s what Bring One is about. You never know what God will build when you simply say come and see.
