We’ve had a lot to celebrate over the past two Sundays!🎉
Our students stood in front of the church and recited Scripture they’ve been memorizing.
Hearing them share God’s Word from memory was such a proud moment. We also gathered around every student, school staff, and educator to pray for the school year ahead.
And summer deserved a proper send-off! We took the celebration outside for food, games, and time with our church family and the community.
We’re grateful for everyone who made these two
Sundays so much fun. 🙌🏾

Sunday was such a good day with our Restoration family! ☺️
We left with a needed reminder: we need rest because we’re human. Rest isn’t getting in the way of life; it’s part of life.
In John 4:6, Jesus was tired from the journey, so He sat down by the well. Jesus rested. How much more do we need to?

The blessed person isn’t someone who has never sinned. It’s the person whose sin has been forgiven by God—and who has stopped pretending about where they fell short.

We can’t fully enjoy the blessing of forgiveness while minimizing or explaining away our sin. The road to joy begins when we get honest with God. Is there anything you need to stop explaining away and bring honestly before Him?

Shame tells us that telling the truth about our sin will cost us more than staying silent. But silence has a cost too.
We don’t have to keep hiding. When we tell the truth about what’s going on, we begin to experience the freedom and relief that honesty brings. What truth do you need to bring into the light this week?
