He is risen!!

After Friday's weight and Saturday's silence, say it like you mean it.

He is risen. And because he is, everything is different. Death doesn't get the last word. Grief doesn't get the last word. The grave doesn't get the last word. He does.

Three words that changed everything. It is finished.

Not "I give up." Not "I failed." Finished. As in completed, accomplished, done. The debt paid. The separation closed. The thing that needed to happen, happened.

Today we sit with the weight of Friday. Because Sunday means nothing without it.

On the night he was betrayed, he took bread, broke it, and said "Do this in remembrance of me."

He knew what was coming. And what he wanted us to carry with us wasn't a doctrine or a date. It was a meal.
