Pastor Deb's Food For Thought: PATIENCE: WAIT ON THE LORD

Our Heavenly Father desires that we all reflect the image of the Holy Spirit that lives inside each and every one of us! When we think about patience, it should not mean that we wait with anxiety, irritation, confusion or passive resignation. It is not to be understood as being done with jealousy, envy or with rage.
When we Wait On The Lord, we do so because it is an active response to opposition. Waiting with the patience God grants is not without movement. It is not easy sometimes when trouble comes our way in many forms. We as children of the most High God must pray continuously, trust, believe, have the faith of a mustard seed and never doubt that He will deliver our needs because He is an on time God.

Pastor Deb's Food For Thought: THE ACT OF KINDNESS

Love and respect is an act of kindness. Did you know that kindness is not a natural human trait? It must be developed in us so that we can express it in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our Father, since He has been kind to us, we as His children should show Kindness to others even in the midst of conflict. Even if our kindness to others goes unnoticed, remember that God notices. Be not weary in well doing. The kindness that God shows to His children is everlasting. We are not being faithful, trusting, believing to please mankind, but to be to the One who will give us our rewards in Heaven.

Pastor Deb's Food For Thought: THE FEELING OF JOY!

Regardless of circumstances the evident of true joy always abounds. Those who love God rejoice even in the midst of troubles. Our Heavenly Father looks down upon His children and wonders at the joy and adulation of His children.

Sadly all over the world, there are countries where our brothers and sisters must hide their worship from those in authority! But when you are giving honor to the most high God, communion with God produces joy! Where there are 2 or 3 gathered together in His name, He will be there in the midst. There is that joy found deep in your soul and you just can't keep it to yourself!

Pastor Deb's Food For Thought: THE GOD THAT SPECIALIZES

We all go through some issues in our lives which leaves holes in our souls. Who better to heal our souls than the One who created us and gave us life? God specializes in bringing comfort and joy to those who seek Him and who understands and cares.

We've come to know and learn that our hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness! There is no other power on God's earth that can specialize in bringing the harmony of love, peace and hope to a dying world who is seeking an oasis from our Heavenly Father!
