FOLLOW JESUS FRIDAY: The ribbons are laying around, bags or wrapping paper are ready to be taken out and some unwrapped presents are waiting to be put away or used. The gifts under the tree are all gone. Sad? Joyful? Mixed feelings flowing. But when you come up for air, breathe in the wonderful gift that is beyond our imagination. The gift of Jesus! Glory to God!
“An angel tells Mary, "you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.” Luke 1:31
“An angel tells Joseph, "She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins". Mathew 1:21

FOLLOW JESUS FRIDAY: Christmas time seems like the time when people really enjoy candles and twinkling lights. Knowing God is our source of light / from Genesis when he brought light to the world to Christmas when Jesus was born - light has been a sign to us of his love. I hope that when you see the lights, candles, stars you are reminded that God is our source of everything. He brings the light to a chaotic day and world. Rejoice in the Lord Always ! Sing paises Always!

“let us walk in the light of the Lord.”
Isaiah 2:5
“The Lord will light my candle.”
Psalms 18:28

FOLLOW JESUS FRIDAY: The storm and rains have passed for now. Some of the flooding still resides. I know people who were affected by the water are probably still are dealing with the aftermath. Jesus uses the symbolism of storms as a way to show us we all go through chaos and times of disarray in our lives. But just as the flood waters recede so do our chaos and hardships especially if we find the peace from knowing Jesus Christ. Have a dry weekend .

He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.”
Psalms 107:29
“Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace”
Job 22:21

FOLLOW JESUS FRIDAY: The Angel appeared to Mary and told her that she would give birth to a baby. She questioned it at first but then she basically trusted in God’s promise. A promise that changed everything for her and the world. Do we have a trust like that? One that gives us hope and peace when our lives seem to be going in what we think is the wrong direction? Trust and believe God and he will not fail!
Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed. Proverbs 16:3

FOLLOW JESUS FRIDAY: Fall is the most beautiful season. The colors, the shapes, the sizes of all the leaves, The rivers rushing after rains, The furry creatures gathering food and many other things. One can definitely rejoice in all the glory of God. One can give thanks in all the things and in all the circumstances of the season too. Praying for the goodness that abounds! Enjoy your Blessings!

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, giving thanks in all circumstances.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16,17,18

FOLLOW JESUS FRIDAY:
This past week there have been many things about people wanting the truth about many different things. It is sad and concerning that there are many people who don’t tell the truth. If they only knew about Jesus. Maybe then they would know the peace he gives for telling the truth. One can only, Pray!

“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
